Hi. I’m trying to rearrange my room so that it has better harmony. Right now I’ve cleaned it up pretty well, but I’m faced with the dilemma of where to place my bed and desk. You see, my room is very small, so I don’t have much room to move stuff about. I can’t take out the desk because I really need a place to work and my room is my favorite place to work; I need a bed in it as well. Is the way I place my objects supposed to correspond with the cardinal directions of the world (my bedroom window is literally facing toward the west), or am I supposed to think of the entrance wall of my bedroom (where the door is), as an “imaginary south”? Should I start looking around my house for a compass?
