I am now wanting to get involved in feng shui. Will it work if I use it in just one room in my house?

My house is rectangular shaped so there is not really any space for the middle squares (I am referring to Family, Health and creativity). Should I decorate with feng shui in all my rooms?

   You should follow the basic rule for the general rooms, and basic like no mirror at foot of the bed for bedrooms, hang mirrors to reflect bad energy. If everything has been running smoothly in your house, then don’t change anything. By not knowing, is better than knowing some and changed it into bad.

   Generally, it is best to feng shui all your rooms to achieve the best results.

   But for starters you can start to improve the feng shui of the room which you spend the most time in. Your bedroom, home office, or living room perhaps?

   I would advise that you start to feng shui your bedroom as that is the place where u spend most of your time in (even when you are sleeping). So getting your bedroom feng shui-ed will be a good start.

   if you’re serious with fengshui, best thing is to get a fengshui practitioner do an audit of how your house can achieve good fengshui. i don’t think that there’s another way, unless you take lessons from some fengshui masters.

   think about what your method so called bagua does – you cannot put a toilet/ bathroom in your home, bec anywhere you locate it, it has a bad effect on that part aspect of your life. and how are you going to improve your life with that technique?

   fengshui was simplified by the chinese years ago, so now fengshui practitioners use the fengshui methods like flying stars, 8 mansions, 5 ghost carry money, etc. these are more powerful stuff, and these are usually use in combination to make the fengshui of your house more powerful.

   if you are interested in learning flying stars get a book by eva wong. lillian too wrote many books on 8 mansions technique. but remember that these techniques are taught by all fengshui masters, they just have different takes on them or how to use these methods.

   it is good to know different methods, so you’re not stuck with 1 method, in case that method is difficult to apply in your house.

   Although you want to use Feng Shui only in one room, you have to take into account all the house and analyze it to apply it accurately, be it just in one room or in all your home.

   Results as well will be noted more for all the house than for just one room.
