Hi Maddy, try Lillian Too site, she is one of the best! I do know that you should not have live plants, a T.V. and definitely not a mirror!
trying some things to arrange the furnitures insidyour bedroom wont do you any good. why? bec you need your bedroom in a location (in your house) with a good chi combination. and you cant do it without knowing certain fengshui methods. i know that most people insist on having quick fixes. but fengshui is not about that. fengshui is much more than painting your room a certain color or arranging your bed a certain way. research on the flying stars method, and it is enough to make your house have good fengshui. yes the whole house. it is useless to achieve good fengshui only to your room as the bad fengshui of the other parts of the house can negate whatever good fengshui you achieved in your room. in fengshui, a house is always considered a unit, bec all of the rooms inside the house share just 1 kind of chi coming in from the main front door.
Great question. The first thing is to put yourself or your bed in a command position. This means that you are not in direct line of the door or on the same wall as the door.
The bed should have a headboard that is firmly attached to the bed and touching a wall. The headboard is about protection and the possibility of a relationship or stability in a relationship. It is also important to have two matching nightstands with matching table lamps. If there is hardwood flooring, I like to have a rug placed on each side of the bed so you don’t put your feet on a cold surface first thing in the morning.
It is also a good idea to not have the sides of the bed pushed up against a wall. Best to have 8 to 12 inches of space between the side of the bed and the wall.
Good colors for the bedroom include pink, light green and blue, peach and other lighter colors that bring peace to you.
