Advice for improving wood element in Feng Shui?
January 14, 2010 by admin
I’ve had terrible relationship luck since moving into this house — within a month of moving in my boyfriend of 5 years dumped me, and in the 5 years since I have not had another boyfriend. I did some readings and it looks like the problem is partially the wood element in my bedroom is very weak (and a nice metaphor, indeed!)
Here’s the trouble. My room has a badly placed window, so almost no sunlight comes in. Any plants I bring in would need to be able to survive with no light. Also, it’s a rented house, so I can’t make any changes that can’t be undone (no painting or removing carpets.)
Also I don’t have a lot of money, I can maybe manage about $50 worth of new material. Suggestions?
I did put up nice paintings of happy couples around the “relationship” area some months ago, but it didn’t help much. The idea of putting a light in the area might be a good idea though — I tried to think of a way to add some light a while ago but it’s difficult to do without blocking my closet.
Still, like I said, I looked into what the big problem is, and it seems to be the weakness of the wood element in my bedroom. Given my color scheme of blue, gold, black and white, and my big wrought-iron bed, I’ve got all the other elements covered. I do like walnut-colored wood and have some furniture in that hue, but I hear furniture won’t usually help the wood element.
